Clients’ put great effort into obtaining funds for themselves, their start-ups or their causes. I help to play a part in that. The bottom line is that I write documents that build a strong case for why you, your company or your non-profit is a worthwhile investment.
My first published work appeared in a trade journal while serving an internship my senior in college. Early on, I focused on public relations and marketing communications projects. As my career progressed, I pivoted to marketing – goal-setting, developing strategies and tactics, conducting research and more.
An opportunity to leave traditional employment presented itself and I gained experience as a business owner, performing all administrative and client service activities necessary to run a successful enterprise. I’ve owned and operated two businesses – freelance writing now since 1996. I came to realize that the greatest demand for writers was in those areas that help generate income. It was then that I decided to focus exclusively on business plans, grant writing, new client proposals and resumes.
